Stapler Circumcision
We are the only clinic in Wales, and only one of a few in the UK offering Stapler Circumcision with the CircCurer™ device.
This New and Advanced method benefits from:

How does Stapler Circumcision Work?
The head of the penis (glans) is exposed. A protective bell is used over the glans, and the stapler device is applied over the foreskin. The device then precisely cuts and closes the wound using miniature titanium staples in less than 3 minutes. The staples then fall out between 1-4 weeks to leave a precise and clean scar.

Cut and stitch Circumcision (With or without Glue)
The procedure involves using a special forceps to separate and hold the foreskin away from the glans (head of the penis). The foreskin is then carefully surgically removed. Bleeding is controlled. Small dissolvable stitches are then used to close the wound and a dresssing is applied.
Glue circumcision can be done for an additional fee where stitches are buried and a layer of skin glue is applied to the wound leaving a cosmetically better scar.

We understand that circumcision can be a big decision for men to take. We aim to clarify the main questions you may have:
Will I be awake for the procedure?
Yes. The procedure is done under local anaesthetic, which means the area being operated will be numb, although you will be awake for the procedure.
Will I feel any pain during the procedure?
No. You will have an initial sting from the local anaesthetic injection, but once the penis is numb, you will not feel any pain.
How long does the circumcision operation last?
A Stapler Circumcision will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. A traditional cut and stitch circumcision will take approximately 60-90 minutes to complete.
How long do I need to take off work?
For a physical job, you will need to take 2 weeks off work. For an office job, you are able to go back to work the next day.
Are there any activities I am unable to do after circumcision?
You will need to avoid physical exercise and heavy lifting for 2 weeks after the operation.
When can I resume sexual activity after the operation?
Sexual activity can be resumed 4-6 weeks after circumcision.
How long will it take my penis to heal following Traditional Circumcision?
The penis will be painful and swollen for the first 1-2 weeks. Dissolvable stitches will take about 2-3 weeks to dissolve. Full healing can take upto 6 weeks, although this can vary between individuals.
How long will it take my penis to heal following Stapler Circumcision?
The penis will be painful for a couple of days. . Most patients fully heal by 3 weeks, although this can vary between individuals.
How long does a Frenuloplasty operation take?
Frenuplasty will take around 20 minutes.
When can I resume sex following Frenuplasty?
You may resume sexual intercourse around 4 weeks after frenuplasty.
